UCL Politics and International Relations

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone who knows UCL applications well or has applied could help me out.
I’m planning to apply to UCL for politics and international relations and just wanted to know my realistic chances for getting in.

GCSE Grades
8’s: history, spanish, religious studies
7’s: maths, chemistry, biology, english language
6’s: english lit, physics

A-level predicted grades
A*A*A, with the A*s in history and religious studies, and the A in maths.

I just wanted to know if i would have a chance of getting in, with regards to my gcses grades, and would appreciate advice from anyone else who has got into to ucl for this course or any!

I am also not a contextual applicant.
Thank you!!!
Why wouldn't you be able to apply competitively on the basis of your grades? You have excellent A-levels and very good GCSE results...?

Thank you so much!
It’s mainly because I’m aware of how competitive UCL is to get into, and how they weigh gcses a decent amount.
I wasn’t sure if the 6’s and lack of grade 9’s would hold me back, and if there was really a point in applying?
I also couldn’t find any actual admissions stats for UCL for this course and what successful applicants gcses looked like, so I was worried my gcses were too low for UCL.

I'm not aware of them having any university wide approaches to GCSEs...the medical school doesn't even score GCSEs.

Granted I'm aware politics and IR is a popular course but for what it's worth you have better GCSEs than me and I'm a current UCL student (albeit in a humanities course) so...make of that what you will.
