Should I resit?

I am a y13 student who is interested in applying for dentistry.

I got a grade 6 for English Language but never thought much of it as I didn’t want to do dentistry. Now I do, but I’m not sure my grade is good enough. I was thinking of resitting my GCSE this November but I’m not sure considering it’s been a while and it’s alongside doing alevels.

Does anyone think it is worth it?
I really wanna go Sheffield university but they need a grade 7 minimum.

If they need a minimum of 7 and you're absolutely set on going to that school you should resit English as a standalone GCSE.
However, do remember that there are other good universities for dentistry.
