Is maths alevel or health and social care btech better?

I’m in the first week of alevel. I got a 7 in maths which I was happy with but I’m really struggling with the alevel content right now. I feel like I’m falling behind and it just feels like a whole other language. I do think I’m capable of learning but I feel like I’ll probably get about a C

I’ve had a look at other courses and I’m interested in the health and social care btech but the problem is is that it isn’t an alevel so I’m worried that only doing 2 alevels will not be desirable to unis

In the future I want to work with kids and/or disability

Most Unis will accept a single BTEC Certificate alongside 2 A levels with no disadvantage. You do need to check the specific entry requirements for each course/Uni that you are interested in. If 'combination BTEC/ A levels' etc isnt listed under the entry requirements on the course page, just email their Admissions team with details of what you are taking and ask them. Relevant degree courses would be Childhood Studies, Psychology with Education, Special Needs Education, Social Work, Health & Social Care, Nursing for Learning Disabilities etc.
