2+2 BSc Psychology, failed exams

I'm a very mature student, kids, house, mortgage, car and failed 2 exams, and my uni want me to attend lectured from January, on those modules. I'm gutted, as they've told me I will only get a quarter of student finance. I've had to get a full time job cleaning, from 6am with gaps, till 2.30 am. I just think that it's really naff. They don't release the timetable till near enough when we start, so arranging hours to work will be near impossible. Plus, I will have to work nearly full time hours to cover bills etc. They are making it impossible to carry on. This was a 2+2 course, specifically marketed for mature students. Joke.

Hi there. In regard to the Maintenance Loan, we would pro-rata the amount based on the time you will be attending, so if you are only repeating part of the year the Maintenance Loan would be recalculated based on this and you would not be eligible for a Maintenance Loan for time not in attendance.

If you have any queries regarding the timetable it would be best to speak with the university regarding this, as the payment dates we get come from the information the university provides about the course. It may also be helpful to speak with the university regarding your financial situation as they will have their own hardship department and may be able to offer support. Thanks, Leah.
