What course can you do with Art, Psychology and sociology A level combinations

TheUniGuide has a tool called the "A-level Explorer" where you can "See where your A-level choices will take you". If I provide it with your three subjects it says that the four best matching degrees are:
Psychology
Sociology
Nursing
Fashion

Do any of those appeal?

Hi there,

It might help to think about whether you’d prefer a more practical degree (like art, where you will likely need a portfolio) or something more essay-based (like sociology or psychology).

If you’re interested in how people, culture and creativity shape society, you could look at courses such as Urban Studies, or subjects in the area of Media, Culture, or Communications. These often explore how communities work, how culture influences everyday life, and how our cities and societies are shaped.

The good thing is, lots of universities offer degrees that don’t require specific A-Levels, so undergrad can also be a great chance to try something new. It can also be really useful to attend university taster days or open days, and even chat to current students through platforms like Unibuddy, to get a feel for what might suit you best.

There are a large number of Humanities and Social Science degrees that have no specific A level subject requirement - the entry requirements will be stated as just three grades.

Have a look at all of the subjects that sound interesting, or just 'I don't know what that is' - Anthropology, American Studies, International Development, Philosophy, Law, Liberal Arts, Social Policy etc etc and many of these subjects will be also available as joint-subject degrees:
Undergraduate Courses, Degrees : Study : University of Sussex
Undergraduate subject areas - University of Birmingham

Hi JanetBankole,

That’s a great A-level combination. I took photography for one of my A-Level subjects, and I loved it! 🤩

At The University of Law, we have a wide range of degrees, not just Law, but also subjects like Business, Criminology, Policing, Psychology, Computer Science, and Marketing. ULaw doesn’t have strict subject requirements for most undergraduate courses, so even if you haven’t taken the traditional subjects like History, Law, or Politics, you’re still eligible to apply.

With Art, Psychology, and Sociology, you will have developed a strong mix of transferable skills that can be applied to a variety of our degrees. If you're interested, then check the course page on our website for the specific entry requirements and modules. If you’re still unsure, come to one of our open days or taster sessions; these are a brilliant way to explore your options.

Hi,

Many university courses don't have specific subject requirements, so there's lots to choose from! That said, here are some suggestions that I think complement your A-levels.

BA Creative Arts
BA Liberal Arts
BA World Philosophies
BA Social Anthropology

I hope this helps!
