Advice on accessing expired uni email!! (Liverpool John Moores University)

I recently graduated in July from LJMU and hadn't accessed my outlook account via the app since registering for my graduation photos (iPhone offloaded the app due to storage) so I didn't see the warning email that my account would be deactivated around aug/sept. Regardless, I am in the middle of applying for my PGCE and need to write a personal statement for my ITT advisor. However, when i wrote my personal statement, I didn't realise that Word was still on my LJMU account, not my personal account. So now that I'm trying to edit my personal statement it won't let me access the document, even though it is saved to my laptop.

Does anyone know if there is a grace period for such situations as I really need to access my document asap. Thank you for any help!!
It might be worth dropping IT services a line, they may have scope to reinstate it temporarily.

Hi,

After graduation, universities usually deactivate student emails and associated Office 365 accounts. The best step would be to contact our LJMU IT HelpDesk at 0151 231 3664 and ask if they can temporarily reactivate your account or assist you in recovering the file.

Hope this helps,

If IT can't sort it can you print it then scan it? Sometimes it's easier to start again because it shouldn't be a large document.

I will give that a go, thank you! It’s just so frustrating because I can see the document on my file explorer along with all of my other documents on that profile, but just can’t access them
