Wish I had better news but with that overall UCAT score and the band 3, you have little to no chance of getting into a five year medicine degree. As the number of people having sat the UCAT is at a ten year high. So the competition is fierce. Cardiff university usually have low UCAT but you would need predicted AAA at A level. I can’t think of any other university that would take such a low score. Small chance for foundation/Gateway year but to stand any chance you probably need to also meet criteria such as having a certain postcode, had free school meals etc But even most foundation/Gateway routes due to the competition I think with your 1660 and band 3 there is very little chance.

Plus remember if you end up applying to a five year medicine degree you will need predictions of AAA-AAB and those predictions will then not allow you to apply for foundation/Gateway as they are too high. For foundation/Gateway to be eligible you cannot have the predicted grades that would allow you to apply for the five year degree.

If I was you I would only apply to foundation/Gateway to medicine and your chances are low due to UCAT at 1660 and the band 3 is the final nail in the coffin I’m afraid 😬

Keele is an okay option for your ucat but you’d need an A*AA (they are strict on results day) and your personal statement need to be top notch. KMMS is probably your best option option as they mostly use contextualised GCSEs for interview selection , so if you came from a low performing GCSE school it’s a very good choice. KMMS also don’t use predicted a levels at all! (These are for non-foundation courses, if you are eligible for foundation courses then to maximise your chance of getting an interview you should apply to only foundation courses -> unless you’d rather do a gap year).
