gcse science help

when answering questions on science if its a 1/2/3 marker and i include a lot more extra detail but still include the overall points in the mark scheme would i still get full marks for it? because i tend to include as much detail as i can for these questions in case i provide an answer that doesnt have enough detail and isnt on the mark scheme

Yes. As long as the information in the mark scheme is explicitly stated in similar wording and not implied through the higher knowledge, you'll receive full marks.

so even if i include a lot of detail that wasnt needed to answer the question but still include the points in the mark scheme i would get marks for it?

Yes, but very carefully read my comment. You CANNOT imply the detail. You must explicitly state it. What I did to make sure I wouldn't drop marks was basically {simple statement], [slightly more complex statement], [high level statement] so that whatever level was needed was covered.
