Looking to do a masters in 2026

Hello I'm currently in my final year of a coaching, counselling and mentoring degree and have had student finance support of tuition and maintenance loans. I am not sure if I'm eligible for funding for my masters? I may do a year or two year full time masters possibly with some NHS link. Please help as I'm hearing different things and feeling quite anxious about it now. I'm a mature student and under the impression this degree could lead into a possible counselling job, but we were informed half way through that the course was without accreditation.

Hi Kerryann,

You'll be eligible for the Masters Loan so long as you don't already have a Masters. This is regardless of your previous study.

When you finish your current course will you get a Degree, or does it include a Masters too?

Thanks, Graeme
