Reapplying to Oxford Physics

Hi all, if this question has been asked before then, apologies.

I got rejected from Oxford this year after interviews (I kind of flopped the PAT, I stink at multiple choice).
Obviously I'm working on the weaknesses that got exposed last year, fairly confident I'll score much higher.
I got 3A*s and an A at A-Level (started further maths in my second year) so ultimately decided to try again.

Would be very appreciative of any advice for reapplying for physics, general advice would be great too.

Thanks

Edit:
Appreciate the replies, but please stop explaining how their application process works. I am painfully aware of it from my first time applying, I'm asking specifically for advice on reapplying after a gap year. Cheers

What are your GCSE grades and subjects?

3A* will look favourable for your UCAS applications.

Just keep practicing the PAT papers. 🙂

Are you self-studying A-Level Further Maths? If so, which papers and examboard? CP1? CP2? FM1? FD1? FP1? FS1? FM2? 😧

Appreciate the reply, don’t recall exactly but fairly certain my GCSEs were all 8s and 9s with a 7 (******* history), I did do triple science and got 3 9s. I studied further maths in my second year of A-Level and did Edexcel with further mechanics 1 and decision 1.

Do you have any offers from other unis? What would you do for the next year? Having your A' levels already is a positive, but you will be in competition with this years Y13s. Oxf Physics gets about 9 applicants per place, and Oxf aims to interview about 3 applicants per place, using the PAT score to determine interview selection, in most cases. Just to put things in perspective, the majority of applicants don't get called for interview.

Oxford might not be a possibility if you don't get shortlisted but Imperial and UCL might interview you and make an offer.
