A level mocks, will they affect me?

I’m studying History, Psychology and Physics. I am in year 13 and I have already completed my year 12 mocks but have year 13 mocks coming up in November. I am currently at an A*, B, C from my year 12 mocks. I’m looking to study at the university of Exeter to study PPE (A,A,A req) as my top choice and I will be applying before Christmas break, will I get an offer with these predicted? Can my predicted grades change from November mocks? And if I don’t get an offer now and do really well in my real a levels and then re apply in Christmas 2026 for 2027 entry will the university only consider my real a level exam grades? I just need some advice to get me through

Honestly, A*, B, C for an A A A course - an offer is unlikely.
If you think you can do better, then talk to relevant teachers and find out if they will predict higher grades before the January deadline. Yes, you could apply / reapply with achieved grades next year if you did manage to get A A A next August.

Hey thanks for the advice, but can I ask, do the November mocks in year 13 shape predicted grades as well as the year 12 mocks? As I know the application deadline is January I just thought that if I was to achieve A, A, A in the November mocks my teachers would predict me these grades before the application deadline?

Talk to your teachers now and find out what you need to do to get higher predictions.

Different schools have different policies. Perhaps different teachers have different policies.

Each school/college has a different system for devising predicted grades - end-of-Year-12 grades, Year 13 mocks, or even just teacher intuition. Yes, if they will make higher predictions, you can submit your application up to early January - check if your school has a submission deadline.
