Is my Student Finance Correct?

Hi,

I just applied to do my Nursing Degree and my original application was for the University of Greater Manchester.

In my letter of entitlement I was offered 12,013.00 but I thought this was higher than the max for living outside of london?

I was wondering if this would be correct and I would still get this amount for the new University I am studying at? My dad is retired and doesn't really have an income could this be why?

I am worried that I won't get enough to cover living expenses otherwise?

Many thanks

Hi there,

Certain courses, like Nursing ones, are classed as long courses. This means we'll increase your Maintenance Loan automatically to reflect this, so this actually sounds correct based on what you've told us.

Thanks, Graeme
