Do they necessarily wait until January deadline for the equal consideration policy? will this policy be applied even for my course(data science)...is it too competitive?

Some unis wait until the January deadline before they make any offers, others start making offers from when they receive applications (but they won't run out of offers for students applying in Dec/Jan). I'm not sure what policy Leeds operates for your course.

Hi! Thanks so much for the information above. I’ve applied to Leeds for law (undergraduate - 2026 entry) and I know that generally offers are not made this time of year as only early applicants have applied. That being said, I’m wondering if there’s any chance of me being made an offer within the next few weeks? (Predicted 3 A*.) Highly unlikely, I presume, but maybe someone can tell me their experience. Thanks you!
Hey everyone!

How are you all feeling? Is anyone applying for any courses with an early deadline (October 15th)? It’s a week to go, so just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling 😄

If you need some help with your personal statement, we have a whole forum dedicated to your questions (just don't post any part of your statement!), and some example statements in our PS library.

What are your main questions?

If you're not applying early, have you started looking around at booking any open days yet? If so, how are they going? Have you visited Leeds yet?

Good luck everyone :woo:

1.

Maths, Physics and Chemistry (it makes no sense compared to the course ik)

2.

I have applied to Economics and Politics - It is really interesting and aligns more with what I want to do in my career

3.

I am predicted 3A* and an A in EPQ.

4.

It is my insurance choice. When I visited the campus it was really beautiful and I liked the vibes. It is a student city - with all 3/4 unis centered in the same place so I can meet loads of students.

5.

I probably won't since I have visited it before.

6.

Kind of nervous but also excited. I just want to have a good time and make the best use of my resources.

7.

I've also applied to Warwick, Oxford, LSE and UCL. Realistically I am probably getting an offer from Warwick and get rejected from others. Also, I got my offer from Leeds🥳
