Because I need to add a form for extenuating circumstances to my application through the Tracker with in two weeks, how will they know that my application isn’t a reflection of my full profile? Thank you again.

Once we receive your application, we will process it and you will receive information on how to log into Tracker. On the application tracker there is a section where you can fill in the mitigating circumstances form, but the link to this is not yet live. You do not need to worry about this because whatever stage your application is at, when we receive your form it will be taken into consideration. The admissions team will be starting to look at 2026 applications shortly but are currently not processing decisions

Hoping this helps! 🙂

Thank you!! I’ve now had the email with my details, but the website says limited functionality. Do you know how long this will take to resolve?

@University of Bath is there going to be another google sheet this year where people can track who has recieved/is waiting for offers from each course?

Hi there!

This is not something we create as a University, but I have seen this kind of thing going around TSR for other unis - do you remember who created the one last year? Perhaps they'll be the best one to tag and ask!

Sorry we couldn't be of more help!

Limited functionality = the link to the mitigating circumstances form is not yet live but we will be launching this by the end of next week. If you continue to have problems after that please ring us up - 01225 383019.

Like we mentioned however, we will take into consideration your mitigating circumstances whenever we receive them - it doesn't matter if you submit the form days/weeks after you apply. Even if you initially do not get an offer for a course, if you subsequently submit a mitigating circumstances form we will look at your application again.

Hope this helps, best of luck 🙂

Hi there,

Hopefully now you should have more functionality on the tracker but you will find that the mitigating circumstances section is still unavailable. This is because we are processing something at our end in our systems and it will be available as soon as we have completed the work on this. Please don't worry about adding these details at the moment as you will be able to add them at any point during the application process.
If you are still having trouble with the tracker, please do email [email protected] for further help.

Hi,
After I received my email for my login for the application portal, its said ‘You are not currently configured to receive any portal content’
I saw someone else on this thread had the same issue but mine hasn’t been resolved. I have emailed the admissions team but I was wondering if there was anything else I could do?

Hey! I had the same issue, if I were you just wait for the admissions team to respond.)

Hello,

It does take a little time for your application tracker to be fully visible and display all of its functionality.
The account is created when we receive your application but it takes a little longer for the system to set up all of the configurations - we would recommend checking back after 24 hours.
If you're still experiencing problems, please do email [email protected]

Hope this helps

hi

1) maths, further maths, physics and chemistry
2) natural sciences! i really couldn't choose between any science degree so i was really delighted to be able to keep some flexibility in what i study
3) 999999998, and predicted A*A*A*A*
4) they have a really great reputation for my course. it also helps that my physics teacher went to bath for natsci - she's done a good job convincing me to apply! i believe i'm also eligible for a contextual offer of AAB so that would be a real safety net compared to A*AA at most other uni's
5) unfortunately not
6) scared about getting in, but once i'm there i'll be so excited!
7) i've already applied to cambridge, ucl, durham and lancaster

best of luck to all of you!

For those asking about Mitigating Circumstances:

If you have already received log on details for the Bath Application Tracker, you should now be able to add any details and information you would like to give us about your individual mitigating circumstances. Hopefully you will have also received/or will receive, an email shortly about how to do this. All information that you provide is treated confidentially.

It seems like as good a time as any to mention that it's a good idea to check your junk/spam email folders (some of our communications can end up there!) so you don't miss any information from us!

We're looking forward to reading your applications and wish you all the best of luck!

Good luck guys, I’m a fresher at Bath reading Econ with Politics and loving it! It’s a great choice, it was my Insurance option and I’m so glad I didn’t get my firm as this is the right place for me

Its so good to hear you're enjoying your time here 🙂

This should serve as an example to others that even if you don't get into your firm, theres all the likelihood in the world that you will still end up with circumstances you will be happy with and a university life you will love.

Uni is what you make of it, and who you meet, what you experience, friends, placements, socials and the memories you make are a lot more important than physically where you are!

Hi there,

It's still very early to hear from us, especially for a highly popular course like Aerospace Engineering. The deadline for decisions is early May and you may not hear back from us until the spring next year.
We know that waiting to hear our decision is tough but please be assured that we are making sure that all applications are treated fairly and equitably.

Hi does having higher predicteds than the minimum make my application more competitive. For example, biochemistry needs AAB/ABBB but my predicteds are A*A*AA

I very much doubt it would make a difference. Many students have higher predicted grades than the course requirements. My gf had the same predicted grades as me A*A*A* I received an offer but for some reason she didn’t which wasn’t a bad thing in the long run as she didn’t receive the grades needed anyway

Hi there,
Well done for having such strong predicted grades, that’s very impressive! At Bath, we consider multiple aspects of your application, not just your grades. Of course, meeting our minimum grade requirements is important in gaining an offer. However, it is extremely important to us that your personal statement also highlights your passion for your chosen subject and explains why you wish to pursue further study in this field. Good luck with your application!
