Hi everyone,

My name is Daisy and I'm a second year medic at the University of Sheffield! If you have any questions about medicine specifically or university in general please let me know! I am happy to talk to you about the student life here, the societies available and what it is like to study here. I really love Sheffield and would recommend it to anyone thinking about applying here 😄

Hey everyone!

How are you all feeling? Is anyone applying for any courses with an early deadline (October 15th)? It’s a week to go, so just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling 😄

If you need some help with your personal statement, we have a whole forum dedicated to your questions (just don't post any part of your statement!), and some example statements in our PS library.

What are your main questions?

If you're not applying early, have you started looking around at booking any open days yet? If so, how are they going? Have you visited Sheffield yet?

Good luck everyone :woo:

1) I'm doing A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
2) I've applied to Civil and Structural Engineering, mostly because I really like bridges and building stuff, and I'm very lucky to have already got an offer of AAA including Maths or AABB
3) I got 999999999999 at GCSE and am predicted A*A*A*A*
4) Sheffield is supposed to be very good for engineering, and in general I just really liked the vibes.
5) I went to one of the June open days
6) I'm quite excited and looking forward to living indendently
7) I've also applied for Cambridge, Bristol, Southampton and Leeds.
