Ik you said not just reading but reading is super important. Books that are cool: Letters To A Law Student, Eve Was Framed, What About Law. You could also read case judgements, articles, basically do a lot of subject exploration around law

Enter law essay competitions for Y12/13s. The popular ones are the Peter Cane Legal Reasoning Prize, Robert Walker and Gwyenth Bebb

Look up the Oxford and Cambridge undergraduate events/outreach calendars even if you don’t want to apply to either of those unis. They run lots of free law taster sessions, lectures, masterclasses and summer schools for Y12s. If nothing else, some of the in-person ones give you super fancy free lunch.

Sitting in your local courts is a good use of time in the holidays because a) it’s quite dramatic sometimes and b) you can learn a lot
