Are my GCSE's good enough to pursue law and get into a decent RG univesity

So after recently obtaining my GCSE's I am quite unsure whether i can get into a good uni and whether or not it may hinder my chances into actually getting into it. I did check uni requirements and the ones i do want to go into either specify a C/grade 5 in maths and a B in english
which i either meet or exceed. I know that GCSE's are only a part of my student statement but im worrying about whether or not i can get into unis like queen mary, manchester, nottingham and potentially warwick. |For A levels i did pick english literature, politics and biology Any advice would be greatly helpful. Thank

Hi BanJuan,

So as stated, you have met your GCSE requirements for the universities - I wouldn't worry.

Your main target is getting a good predicted grade that is set by your school, these are what universities are looking at the most. In the end GCSE's are just a general minimum requirement pretty much everywhere, including jobs.

Hope this helps,
Koen.

Unis do not actually care that much about your GCSEs. Whilst they may score your overall GCSE profile as part of their assessment, its a tiny element compared to your A levels etc. As an example, Bristol uses these weightings for Law - 20% GCSEs, 40% A levels, 40% LNAT. Focus on your A levels.
