RESITTING ALEVELS: do I need to do mocks privately to receive predicted grades ?

Hi alevels didn’t go to plan and unfortunately I’ve had to resit all 3.
I’m stuck on whether I need to do mocks in a private test centre or if I should just leave it and put ‘pending’ on my ucas application.
I’m worried that with my alevel grades I won’t be considered for any unis at all despite me retaking.

Please help!

Have you talked to your last school about using them as an exam centre - and about applying through their UCAS portal? They could then complete your reference, and may also be willing to provide new predicted grades. Just contact the Head of Sixth or similar and ask.

5 avenues you can go down:

1.

Private tutors

2.

Test centre

3.

Different school

4.

Old school

5.

Company

If you’re doing mocks at a test centre for predicted grades, all you need to do is get in contact with them. They will not provide you references or be referee for ucas.
