I’m currently using the free part of good notes 6 (I’m waiting to get the full version after using it a bit). In terms of a pencil I ordered the meta pen 8 off of Amazon for 17.99 om sale and it’s really good so far so would recommend!

You can use if forever I think but theres a limited notebooks which limit the amount of notes you can take. It’s £30 one off payment for the full version forever so if I like it then I’ll do this as it’s reasonable compared to other apps imo

Hey there 👋

My name is Siobhan and I’m a recent graduate from the University of Lancashire 🎓 This is a great question. I used an iPad throughout lectures too and here’s what I used:

I personally used OneNote for all my note taking and this worked really well!! You can write notes on this on your iPad if you have a pen and then convert this into text when you want to tidy things up later or you can just type straight into it if you have an attachable keyboard. It also has colour co-ordinates folders with dates and times you took the notes which are so handy to look bald on when you’re revising.

I also used this app called good notes on my iPad and this was really hopeful for annotating PowerPoint slides on but I personally am more of a typer than a writer so I didn’t think it was the one for me. But I would check it out and see if it’s your style!

If you don’t know whether you’re a writer or typer then I would advice using a pen and paper and then typing things down on a library computer and seeing which one feels best for you!

If you choose to use a pen, then I would recommend getting one off Amazon as they work really well and are a lot cheaper 🙂 also you don’t want to lose an apple pen 😨 If you do want to get an apple pen make sure you get it engraved!!

Also finally, if you prefer writing the you can get screen protectors for your iPad that feels like paper to make it feel more authentic if that’s your preference ☺️

Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions
