Soooo PROUD of getting b1 in my third mock and I haven’t even read the GMC guidelines. I know I’m doing shi in the other sections but at least I’ve progressed somewhere right?😕

Full medify mock (maybe 2?)

DM mini mock (review it before doing the full mock)

Tackle some QR question types

Have no idea how to improve on VR😣

Starting my revision at 12:40pm so already off to a bad start🤦*♀️ but we can do this!!

Can anyone explains what it means by DM min and DM max? when i do mocks there's only one score, not a minimum one and a maximum one.

In mocks, i have been flagging the questions i guessed so i can differentiate the q's i got right which were actually my own work between the q's i got right just because i got lucky.

although, when looking at my total score of the full mock and i don't subtract the ones i guessed, should i be doing this?

very very upset with myself as today was essentially a waste of a day even though i was free all day. I let procrastination get the better of me and i'm so disappointed bc i'm clearly doing bad at the UCAT but i'm still not

motivated to do work to better myself -i keep saying ' i'll start in a bit'

Today started off bad but i got some work done so thats whats important. I could do better tho💩

✅Back to basics with venn diagrams
✅Practice Venn questions
✅Practice recognising assumptions q's
❌Mini mock
✅Medify mock 3- 1540 b1

I tried to do something different in this mock to see where my real score is and that is to not guess any questions: instead i left them unanswered. Now i know that this is a stupid thing to do in the real exam which is why i'm not going to do it, but I think its good doing it now so that i'm not getting my hopes up if i get an inflated score just because i guessed some correctly. i'm hoping these scary abysmal scores will scare me into stopping procrastinating and STARTING TO ACTUALLY GRIND.

I'm going to start breaking down the scores of each sections because some ppl say that medicine's scaled score is weird

VR- 23/44 WHAT?? i don't know what i did differently in this but i think the passages were just nicer maybe?
DM- 16/46
QR - 10/36
SJ- 47.5 /69 - scraped that b1

today's plan is to solely work on QR, tmrw DM and the day after VR - have no idea if this is the right decision but i really hope it is.

Are you at school now? If not, I’d say try to do one mock a day plus a minimock in QR as you gonna improve a lot with practice

No I'm not at school so essentially free all day. Ok thank you for that 🙂 I've got a couple hours left of the day after a wasted day that i'm really regretting - should i do a full mock or a mini mock of QR and DM that are apparently predictable.

Do one full mock everyday. In addition do two minimocks in QR/DM one day and VR/sJT the next day. You just need to do as much question practice as you can stomach

btw if it makes you feel any better? last year i was getting like 2200 b4 in my mocks 😭 in the real thing i got 2710 b1. sadly that wasn’t high enough for any unis last yr so i have to retake, but what i’m saying is that you’ll probably get a lot higher than you are in your mocks so don’t be disheartened x

what am i doing with my life?
i'm letting my dreams dissolve right in front of my eyes and i'm not doing anything to stop it. When am i going to let these bad habits go like seriously its like i'm observing my life and not living it. I've always wanted to be the top 1% but i can't recall a time where i acted like it. I want to live the life i've imagined. This is not even just abt the UCAT, this is abt my life on the whole. I would feel so much better if knew I put 100% in everything I did. I want to be a productive girl with hobbies and drive and discipline . I want to be someone who works towards their dreams and doesn't get fooled by instant gratification but instead lives by delayed gratification. But to do that, I need to act like the person i want to become and that starts today.

aw that's made me happy that someone is at least benefitting from this failure of a gyg😭😭 no but seriously procrastination is disease that can eat at all all areas of your life and i stand by that.

In the same breath, nothing is going to change until we change so we need to fixxxx up
