no idea, I am also doing a foundation this year, but I've heard it's easy if you do your best, and hard if you leave things for last minute.

Not sure as I too will be doing a foundation year, but will let you know how it goes, I think it if you keep on top of your work it will be fine.

Be aware that any Foundation course ties you to completing your whole degree at the same Uni - it isnt a 'qualification' that you can pick up and use at another Uni. So, be certain that you want to spend the next FIVE years of life there!

so after completing a foundation year, I can't move to a different uni?

You may be able to transfer to a parallel Uni - ie. one asking for the same A level grades - but that is entirely up to that University and if they will accept another Uni's Foundation, they will often set the % entry requirements very high.

Its usually a far better idea to work to get higher A level grades to give you a far wider choice of potential Unis than settle for a low-level Foundation that locks you into completing the whole degree at only that Uni.
