Be honest did taking four a levels help you in any way?
I’m taking bio chem maths and physics and wanting to take the medicine/dentistry route. My school makes you take four to begin with for AS so I chose physics as I was good at it in GCSE but now wondering if taking a fourth actually helps in any way or is it just wasted time.

I was taking the same four, when i started the teachers were very supportive and said they admired me for perusing not just 4 but 4 of the most challenging subjects. i ended up dropping maths. You only need biology and chemistry and another science or mathematical subject so depending how confident you are you’ll get the grades with taking for is completely your decision. i was encouraged to drop one so i coukd try and achieve the best i can in 3 than have the stress of all 4

After seeing first hand how brutal A level physics is I would say don’t do it unless u need it for ur course . It’s 1000x harder than GCSE . If u want to do an extra subject do an EPQ or a filler A level
