How to prepare for a resit

I need advice. So currently I've decided that I'm going to resit my A-levels. My parents have agreed I should as well. We're planning on contacting my school for further guidance but aside from that what should I do to prepare myself for the resit? Any advice?

Also I'd like to ask if anyone has advice on how to mentally prepare myself for a year of studying on my own while my friends are away at Uni.

What subject are you resitting and what grade did you get this year?

Hi, first I want to say thank you so much for replying to my question. To answer your questions, this year my grades were CCD. I got a C in Chemistry, C in RS, and a D in Bio. For now it seems my parents are wanting me to only resit Chem and Bio. I was initially wanting to resit all 3 but I am unsure as of this moment.

Ahh I see, I myself did humanities not STEM, so I took RS if you need any help with that. My best piece of advice overall would be to completely scrap your old methods of revision, as you are not retaining the necessary content. Practice papers and questions are the best form of revision, according to the stats anyway, so I would do any and every question you can find and get AI to mark them with tailored feedback.
