Second degree eligible funding

Hi,
I was just wondering if courses in mental health are eligible for second degree funding? I have not got a degree but have been to University in the past and done the wrong course meaning I have used funding.

Hi there, for to assist you with your query please answer the following questions:

The university you want to apply to?
The exact course title?
Is this a Full Time or Part Time course?
How many years is the new course in total?
How many years of previous study have you used so far?
When are you planning to start your studies?
Thank you, Stephen.

Hi! Yeah of course:
Edge Hill University
BSc (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health)
Full Time (could also do the part time option)
3
I think 3? Not 100% sure but tried University over the years and first time wasn’t the right course and then left due to mental health reasons in the end.
January 26 or September 26.

Thanks

Hi there,

We normally don't fund second degree's unless the new course is one of our full time exception courses. Nursing is one of our exception courses. This means new students are eligible for full SFE support, regardless of previous study or qualifications held, as long as they are not already registered in the field they are planning to study.

Thanks,
Claire
