Hey Y1 A-level early modern here! We do AQA tudors and Louis XIV. I think what enjoy most is the way history shapes our world, how tiny actions have such major consequences. Remembering dates is a major problem for me. Probs not relevent by Les mis and Hamilton are life changes.

Hey Y1 A Level Historian here too! We do OCR Russia, The American Revolution and Britain 1930-1997. What I enjoy the most about History is the way events from the past parallel so many of our events in the present but also how societies that were originally so poor turned into global superpowers (Russia and China) and the twisted methods people used to do this. I'd say the thing I struggle with the most about history is remembering so much content like dates, stats and even people. I can remember what happened, but when it comes to evidence it's difficult for me to remember everything. Uh favourite fact is probably that in 1518 a mysterious dancing plague hit the city of Strasbourg where hundreds of people danced uncontrollably for days until they collapsed or even died
