2 A-Levels and a BTEC

I'm currently studying chemistry and physics a levels, and a digital information technology btec (I wanted to do computer science a level but my school stopped offering it). Am I going to have issues getting into unis for computer science? Am i at a big disadvantage?

Check the computer science courses on unis websites to see what their entry requirements are.
If that doesn't answer your question, then email them to get a definite answer.

You should ideally have A level maths. Quite a few options will be shut off without it.

I'm not too familiar with computer science entry requirements but I do know some unis will require a maths A level or a 6 in GCSE. Is there any way you can resit?

As above, it isnt the BTEC that is the problem - its that you are not taking A level Maths and have a weak GCSE Maths grade. Comp Sci at degree level is Maths heavy and whilst there will be lower level Unis that would accept your application, think about the reality of 3 years studying an course where you clearly struggle with an essential skill.

As McGinger has said, it'll be harder to find courses, but not impossible. It is likely you'll need to brush up on maths during the course.

At the top of the computer science forum a thread with a list of some of the unis that may accept your qualifications.
