2nd degree eligibility

I did an undergrad and masters in a non-STEM subject (music, 2017-21), funded by SFE. Since then I did a MSc Computing conversion degree, which I was able to fund without SFE.

I've always loved maths and would love to do a part-time undergrad degree (BSc Mathematics - Open University) alongside my job. I saw on the SFE website that they can provide "limited funding" for people to re-skill in subjects including mathematics. But I'm unsure if already having my CS conversion degree would prevent me from being eligible.

Also, if I am eligible, does anyone know how much money "limited funding" equates to?

Hi there, students can study exemption courses through the Open University. However to qualify as an exception the course must be one of the following levels:

part time honours degree

joint honours degree

integrated masters degree.

Students studying distance learning through the Open University would only be eligible for tuition fee support. Thanks, Stephen
