student finance delay

My student finance was due to be paid in today.I have had no payment its states awaiting confirmation by the university still? I am a second year student i have been told i do not need to enrol as this process will be automaticly done? I take it its the university end at fault i am a mature student so stressed out a little.

Hi Peter,
You'll need to speak to the university. Your enrolment is a different process to your 'registration'. When you enrol that doesn't confirm your payments being released that just confirms your place at university. The university needs to release your payments by sending us 'confirmation of registration' which they do around the first day of your term. Once we receive this it takes 1-3 working days to update and you're paid up to 3 working days. Your payment will change to 'payment in progress' via your account once this has been submitted to your bank.
