Bit surprising tho considering the other 3 of the big 4 are already progressing to ACs and video interviews. Suppose it kind of shows why KPMG is also ranked the lowest out of the 4 🤷*♀️ i mean ive even heard back from mid tier firms like BDO and Grant Thornton on next stages

yeah i completely agree, if it were a matter of too many applicants they could have simply closed the application window earlier. leaving their applicants wait in limbo is just poor

How did everyone find the online tests? I find the SHL tests where they give you 36 minutes to answer 24 questions so difficult to do and for me they are by far the hardest online test when applying to grad schemes. Are most people able to finish all the questions in the time or is it purposely really difficult where not many people actually finish it in the time? I can't even remember how many I answered in the time given but I'm sure it's probably not enough to get through.

I found them hard at first but ive done many of the SHL ones now so I find them okay to do. A trick I learnt was in the earlier assessments id copy the question and then after the test was finished id look up how you should answer that type of question and then that way I knew for next time. It helped a lot because they dont give feedback on what questions you got wrong or how to answer them. Doing it that way I was able to understand what I was doing wrong afterwards and then when it came to later tests using SHL I understood how to solve them.

Doesn't work for the patterns or scheduling but numerical works great and obviously dont do this during the test as 1. There really isnt time for it and 2. It's cheating and you can be rejected for it but its fine after the test is finished to be able to learn.

When I did my 1st SHL I could only answer 19 /24 questions and I guessed some but I did one yesterday for MHA and completed all 24 questions and felt very confident, especially as a lot of them were repetitive so I still had my workings from previous shl written down! It really is a matter of practice, doing the companies you care less about 1st and then the ones you really want.

Thank you for the advice! I did notice that when I was doing the test for KPMG some of the questions were the exact same as previous companies I did so I was able to go back and look at the answers I had already worked out previously. I have done a little bit of practice on SHL recently and I feel like it has helped so I guess I just need to keep practicing and eventually I'll be able to pass an SHL test.

Is everyone still waiting for video interview I’ve done the online assessment and then they asked for grades but no reply after that is that a good sign or just standard question

Yep and their all paddling without knowing what's needed. Its pretty disappointing that they don't tell you. It would make everyone's life far more easier if they were just transparent about the requirements.

Don't stress about it. These companies are gonna do what they're gonna do

Hi! Does anyone when the KPMG applications will go live?

No Ideas! Do you know if they have any Analyst positions opening up?
