University of Sheffield postgraduates 2025?
Hi, I'm gonna be a postgraduate chemistry student this year. I was wondering whether I should go to the orientation week. Is anyone else going to be a chem postgrad at Sheffield? I'm excited to see who will be in my course

Congratulations on your offer and hope you have a great year in Sheffield!
Orientation week is a great time to explore the city and meet others. You can try lots of different activities and learn about the city too through a range of different events that have been put together. There will be a mix of people from different courses and backgrounds so it is a friendly space to help people settle in before freshers week kicks off.
I would recommend going if you are eager to meet people and learn more about the things you can do during your time at the University.
