Masters in Biomedical Science

Hello! I am just starting my masters in Biomedical Science. I would like to start some reading and looking into my modules ready. My first module is going to be chronic diseases. What books have people found useful?
Thank you

Hi, I did my MSc in Biomedical Science (Specialism in Clinical Biochemistry) in the 23-24 academic year.

In all honesty, I would go based on your reading list and don’t stray from it, albeit we were told at Masters level, we shouldn’t be reading books but already published literature and going back to books only if we need help with the basics I.e bachelors level knowledge (I only used books when I had issues remembering specific things I.e gases in chronic kidney disease as that was a minefield for me…).

I would however say 95% of what I learned came from lectures and reading published literature.
