Room Swaps Sussex University
Hi all,
I'm going into second year at University of Sussex and was given a room based on my third choice however was wondering if anyone is already also deciding they want a room swap and if so, if you'd like to swap. I've spoken to the housing team and they said they're full and so the only way to get a different accommodation is to do a room swap which is open from 29th. My room I have been given is east slope en-suite. Reply if you need more details.

I want a room swap as well. Ideally I'd like not to flatshare as I've realised I just can't be around other people at all. When I'm not at class I rot in my room. I don't want to speak to my flatmates or the accomodation people about my problems either.

I am not at Sussex. I won't share where I am as I don't want my flatmates reading this and finding out. I share a flat with five others. They're always socialising in the kitchen. I would use the kitchen as well but I am extremely introverted so I don't. I often delay/skip meals as I can't make them. I have to drink the water from the tap in my ensuite.
By the way I have since spoken to accomodation about this. My mental health has really taken a nosedive since I moved in.

Hi Eva, I have an ensuite room in Swanborough to swap if you`re interested and if it didn`t already work out for you.

@Eva2222 I can`t send you a pm yet (the website is not allowing me). I want to swap because the ensuite is too expensive, and it is girls only flat so far. At least for this semester, for next one no guarantees since the girls are exchange students and leaving. I would appreciate if we would swap to ig - my username (@karlamedakov)
