Hi, I previously did my UG with the OU, but am doing my masters (distance learning) with another provider. As part of my masters, I have to complete 1 x OU 30 credit PG module. The disbursements from SFE, hasn't quite worked out, so I ended up contacting OUSBA for advice and to how much it would cost per month to finance the module through them. The guy I spoke to was lovely and super helpful! He'd never heard of my set up (just doing 1 OU module), but did mention something along the lines a bridging loan, that would link into the SFE disbursements (I wasn't paying too much attention as that related to a whole master course). I would give the OUSBA a call to discuss your options as soon as possible. They will be fully aware of module start dates, registrations and SFE disbursements.
The Forensic Psychological Studies costs £7,965 and you can get a non-means-tested maintenance loan of up to £12,858 (paid directly to you). There is enough SFE loan to cover your masters, especially if you have requested the full loan amount.
