Tuition loan not confirmed but maintenance is?

My maintenance loan has been confirmed for about two weeks and the first instalment has been paid, but my tuition loan is still awaiting confirmation? I’m a little confused as to why because all my registration has been done? Thanks! :smile:

Hi there,

We require confirmation of registration to release the Maintenance Loan, and confirmation of attendance to release the Tuition Fee Loan. The university will confirm this normally later for Tuition Fees to be paid to them.

Hiya, I ended up contacting my university about all this because it turns out my sfe profile wouldn’t update properly! Anyway my university said they have now sent both my confirmation of registration and attendance, however after talking to SFE again they have stated that they still have not got my attendance confirmation for the tuition loan, which is meant to be paid on the 15th this month

Hi there,

This actually isn't unusual: in many cases, universities can sometimes wait until nearer the time to send Confirmation of Attendance for the first Tuition Fee payment.

If it's still not showing as paid in the next week or two, however, it may be worth letting your university know.
