Open University - referral for academic review!!

I have recieved an email today from open university stating i have had a Referral for Academic Conduct: Review by an Academic Conduct Officer. I am absolutly gutted and genuinely could cry!! Never had this before and in my 2nd year of nursing.

I have re-read my assignment and noticed that 2 references I used cannot be found so wondering maybe is this why. There is nothing in the email to suggest what they have referred it for just a very vague email. I have submitted 2 more assignment after the one in question and I have recieved my mark for the 1 being investigated plus the one for my next module. I just dont understand why when it has been submitted on the 9th July this has now happened. Has anyone else been in this situation and had any outcome.

Really nerve wrecking and I just hope its a minor error that I can explain. I know I have done the work myself by researching both module materials and online sources. I just hope this doesnt take ages to resolve because its an awful worry.

Can anyone who has been in this situation give me advice please.!
How can two of your references not be found? Surely you found them in the first place to use them as references?

Was nothing to do with this. I didnt put 2 quotation marks in for a direct quote. All that worrying for something so minor.

Well that's good to know - it sounds like no major negative outcome?

Obviously good to recognise the need to properly quote direct quotes though!
