Best cafe and food spots in Brighton
Hi Everyone! As we are getting close to the course starting i thought i would share some of my favourite study and food spots in Brighton !
The venue
The Venue is our student bar based at Mithras Halls on the Moulsecoomb campus. We offer daily drink deals, a great value food menu, and a variety of events.
Dice Saloon
"One of the UK’s largest gaming centres, incorporating a storefront, Brighton’s only board-gaming café with a dedicated war-gaming space of over an impressive 6,000 square feet. [their] library boasts hundreds of games for all ages, player counts and experience levels. With regular events representing multiple gaming systems and communities,[they] are proud to offer a unique gaming experience in a safe and welcoming environment."
The Queery
The Queery is a friendly, volunteer-run co-operative in Brighton, UK, dedicated to supporting our local queer community. It is wheelchair-accessible and has a queer radical bookshop, art shop, and library, as well as a pay-as-you-feel vegan cafe.
We also have a welcoming sober community space, available to hire for workshops, talks, classes, meetings, support groups, open mics, film nights, and more.
Trading post cafes
A chain of cafes in sussex that use planet conscious coffee. Their coffee is amazing, as well as their food. They have a few cafes dotted around brighton.
Pink moon
An independent & local plant based cafe and bar that hosts a ton of smaller events (music and more).
The vibes there are absolutely impeccable.
Find your own favourite spot!
One of the best parts of moving to a new place is finding your own regular places, testing out cafes. finding the perfect combination of drink, snack and seat is part of the fun!
Explore the Lanes
The Lanes has a ton of cafes and restaurants you can spend hours just exploring between getting a drink and looking round the second hand shops
Explore St James' Street
A less crowded area of Brighton but has some real gems of cafes, my personal recs are MEO and Palladino's
