Taking both parents to an Oxford open day?

I’m going to the Oxford open day on Friday, and both of my parents want to come with me.

Would it be weird/inconvenient to take both?

I don’t mind; it’s just I know that looking at things like accommodation might be harder with three people.

Most other open days I’ve gone with my mum, and I’ve done two with my Dad. He got the day off on Friday so he wants to come.

Many people come with 2 parents, some even come with 2 parents and siblings so you'll be fine.

Not weird at all. How lovely that your dad is interested. Parents often spot past the sizzle of free bags, biscuits, tortoises etc, and and can ask questions discretely in the background (are all rooms like this? what/ where are the worst ones that freshers usually get allocated... etc ). I never, never, never get involved in the academic stuff, nor in asking the students personal questions (as I have observed in the past). And I really try to stay away from the taster lectures (although they are so interesting) because it's a day for students not the pushy parents.
I'm going with my 'child' - I'll watch out for any sets of 2 parents and beam broadly. I've had lovely conversations over the free tea with other parents on past Open Days. I am just there in the background for support, plus nosiness, plus the teas 😂 Good for your Dad. Enjoy the day with both of them. Have fun1

No, its fine. You get all sorts, people with friends, one parents, both parents, siblings and I have also seen grandparents getting involved as well. I reckon it'd be better with both parents as a trip out as in a years time seeing family only gets more difficult

Some unis arrange separate things for parents which is a great idea.
