OCR A-Level Computer Science

OCR A-Level Computer Scientist's (or pre-computer scientist's)! For your A-level programming project (worth 20% of your final grade), what did you create, with what programming language, how and why?

A 2D-platformer similar to Mario in Python, because my teacher forced me to use Python and my original ideas were still not compatible with OCR's NEA requirements.
I used Numpy and Pygame as the sole libraries, outside Python's standard library. Numpy was only for audio manipulation, anyway.
