Exam board: AQA
Why Sociology: I love politics and social movements, and I'm fascinated by the way different aspects of society influence each other. Sociology is a great way to study how politics actually affects people's day to day lives.
Change society: f&ck up the gender roles
Year: 13
Favourite fact: Everything is so subjective, you'll always be able to defend your position somehow

It's definitely my easiest subject and my teacher is really nice and helpful. We create model answers for exam questions with no time limit and all the notes/help you need which I'm finding really useful. Also attending after school intervention is useful (even though it's on Friday).

My biggest tip is learn your researcher names. Everything else is pretty easy to go back and revise later when you need it but I really struggled to keep up with who said what and I'm having to relearn it now on top of Y12 content revision. I'd try and make quizzes just linking the researcher name to a few of the key points of their theory, doesn't have to be detailed, but enough to help you remember it, it'll be a lifesaver 😊
