Finalllyyyy! Me too I just sent mine in two days ago and I couldn’t find anyone, what trusts did you put as your preference? And how did you find the personal statement?

Hi, I also did as well. I put in Wandsworth and Kensington and Chelsea since I live in Battersea. I found the personal statement ok. My only problem was that I over wrote, so cutting down to meet the character count was long lol. What about you?

I put Bromley and Greenwich since I liked that they mostly worked in one base hospital. The personal statement was so hard, in preparation I started it before the applications opened and then found out the character limit was 3000, and I had like 10000, I was really worried I couldn’t explain properly why I was a good fit with such a low count.

I’m not sure, I tried looking on other forums and haven’t found anything yet, apparently sometimes applications aren’t reviewed until the window is closed. But I’d hope that at the latest it would be mid to late October since the interviews are like the first two weeks of November.

Soooo difficult, even now I’m worrying it wasn’t enough even though I used the full character count. A PWP who’s been giving advice on tik tok said to also utilise the job description bit as much as possible so I did that to try and take stuff out of my statement.

i literally asked tiktok as well to help with the personal statement 😂. it was actually very helpful especially this lady called Davina who is a PWP, her videos helped a lot and talked about including buzzwords that they would like to see in statements.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to know everyone's reasons for applying for the course. I need this experience so I can transition in a couple of years to become a high intensity cognitive behavioural therapist.

Same for me sort of, it’s definitely a good pathway into mental health services and I’m hoping to train as a Senior PWP further down the line

That's really cool. How did you find out about NHS Talking therapies and decide on your career path?

Does anyone know how much people are selected for each borough? I chose Greenwich and Bromley too which seems a popular option!
