Repeating 1st year (as part time student)

Hi,

I'm looking at repeating 1st year of my full time nursing course, and have been told it will likely be part time, as it's only 1 module (30 credits) and placements.

Does this mean I apply for SF as a part time student? and maintenance loan will be roughly 3k?

Also, I have received my 1st payment for 2nd year. Will I need to return this fully before getting reassessed?

Hi aw0592,

Your university will need to send a Change of Circumstances to confirm that you are repeating the course year as a full time student on a part time basis. Your entitlement will be calculated based on the duration and intensity of your attendance.

After getting reassessed, will I need to return the overpayment, or would I be able to pay back the difference?
