Place marking!

Got offered a compliance caseworker role from last year’s application, probably starting in December. Hopefully get further with this year’s TSP application though not looking forward to taking the CSSA again!

Good luck to everyone applying this year!

I remember someone on the 2025 thread saying they got in on their 9th attempt. Don’t want to remember how many times I’ve tried now but at least there is hope for me 🤣

The Civil Service Judgement Test is back!

Banked scores for verbal and numerical, shame, those tests are my favourite part of the application process!

How do we find our banked scores? Is the only way to look back through older applications?

What happens if your banked score is too low? Eliminated?

Fancy seeing you here. 😂 At what point of the application have you seen that you've banked scores for the tests? I'm assuming we did them around the same time last year, but I'm getting through to the verbal test. I was kind of hoping to have banked scores too!. 🤣

Haha small world! After I’d filled in the initial for I got a message to say I didn’t need to do the verbal test, and then shortly after that to say I didn’t need to do the numerical. I had been going to apply for a different position at HEO level so had taken the tests in June, but then withdrew my application as my experience didn’t fully match.

If I’m looking at the right scores then I have 79 in numerical and 82 in verbal. Way better than my scores last year! Fairly confident of making it through to the next stage now!

I assume that would knock you out. Different locations will also have different scores to pass through. Think last year the score for numerical was 38 across all locations, but for verbal it ranged from 22 (Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Portsmouth) to 68 (Stratford). So if you’re applying for Stratford you’re going to need good scores!

Here we go again! I’m already stressed waiting for the results for the first stage tests!

Strange that SJT is back.

There was an internal presentation adverting TSP to current staff last week and they said despite negative feedback they were keeping the 282 question styles assessment but they were reworking it. I wonder why they went back. Good riddance to it anyway.

Maybe the CSSA will make a comeback for TSP 2027 after tweaking. Unfortunately I didn’t get to sit that test

At what stage do we get the CSSA test?, is this after the civil service judgement test?

Reply 15

There is only the cssa test, not the judgement test. Where are you getting the judgement test from?

IMG_1510.jpegOr is this also the same as the CSSA

Reply 17

That's very interesting. I could have sworn it was the cssa not csjt..... Will hopefully find out if I get that far!

Reply 18

Seems to be a late change away from CSSA to CSJT. Not sure which one I prefer to be honest, neither are particularly fun!

"You are not required to take the Civil Service Verbal Test, as you have a valid banked score from previously passing this test successfully. Your application will now proceed to the next stage and you will receive a further update shortly." - I guess this means I made it to the next stage? hope they don't raise the pass mark after getting this.
