🧬Official Biomedical Science Applicants Thread | 2025-2026🧬

If you're applying to university for Biomedical Science for 2026 entry, this is the place to introduce yourself to fellow applicants, ask questions and share your experience of applying so far.

Ice breaker questions:

A level / BTEC / IB / Higher subjects and predicted grades?

Which universities are you thinking of applying to?

Do you have any questions/concerns? Is there anything TSR can help you with?

Wishing you all the best with your application!

Hello, I am doing biology, chemistry, maths and an epq. Not too sure on my predicted grades but based so far on performance its AAA. I am applying to Lancaster and UCLan for biomed but hoping for Lancaster with their placement year/NHS work experience.

Parent here... my son is applying for Biomedical Science at Edge Hill, NTU, Sheffield Hallam then a couple of other related courses at Uni of Notts. Edge Hill is his favourite so fingers crossed for an offer there. He is almost ready to submit his application so hopefully won't be long. Predicted grades (taking BTEC & 2 A levels) Distinction*, A, B
