What paper counts under DSA allowance?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been given an allowance for ink/paper through DSA, which works on a claim-back basis. The email they sent said:

"You can’t use it for specialised paper or stationery such as photo paper, glossy paper, matt paper, brown paper, cardboard paper, refill pads, notebooks, post-its, wall planners, flipcharts, diaries or card. Ink pens and ink refill pens are also not covered."

The confusing part is that nearly every ream of printer paper I look at online or in shops has matte in the description. Does that mean it wouldn’t be covered, even though it’s just normal printer paper?

Since I probably won’t go through huge amounts, I’d like to get something a bit more premium quality rather than the cheapest bulk packs. Has anyone else claimed back paper through DSA and found something decent that was accepted without issue?

Thanks!

If it says A4 printer paper and isn't really expensive they aren't going to query it. They just don't want people trying to buy art supplies or photo paper or anything else that clearly isn't for study.
