LPC as coursework?

Does anyone know if its possible to do some of theLPC exams as coursework rather than exams? I am not seeing the answer to this anywhere and I would like to know as I am better with coursework (or 24 hour exams) than with exams.

Hi @Hello34

For the LPC at the Uni of Law the skills portion is done as take away exams for writing and drafting and practical legal research.
Everything else for LPC is exam based (this is an SRA requirement and the basis on which we are an authorised provider of LPC courses).

If you think you may struggle with exams it's worth speaking to the providers Inclusion team around extra time and entitlement to printed copies of exam - this is down to eligibility but it's definitely worth checking, these teams are very skilled in assessing your needs and providing you with guidance.

The only coursework on our programme is if a student studies LPC LLM because then they complete a Professional Practice Research Report module which includes a 3000 word essay with 20 minute oral.

I hope that helps,
Mandi - The Uni of Law
