Failed my ODP degree
I'm a mature student studying operating department practice. I have just found out today that I have been removed from the course and am absolutely devastated.
I did not complete all of my professional competencies for my portfolio for one module (20 credits), and was informed in person that I would be able to trail those missing competencies over to next year. I unfortunately then also failed my research proposal assignment resubmission (I had completed the corrections that had been laid out in the original and somehow still got the same mark of 30).
I am currently waiting on meetings with the student union and the university support services to hopefully discuss an academic appeal of the decision, but am not holding out much hope.
If anyone has any advice, or even just general words of support it would be appreciated, as I am a total mess right now.
