Will a 15 inch backpack be ok for a 15.6" laptop?

As in the title. I'm just worried the backpack I purchase for uni will be a bit too snug. Maybe I should go with a 17 inch one instead.

I would imagine it will fit in your bag, but if it has a specific pocket for a laptop it is unlikely to fit in the actual pocket.

99% of laptops saying they're 15" screens are actually 15.6", which accessory manufacturers will also aim for. There will also be some leeway because different laptops will have different bezel sizes and different thicknesses. Contrary to the above poster, I think you should be absolutely fine.
