Yeah, i applied for grad mech eng. I've done their online assessment and now they are asking me to do some online job simulation.

I've done the first stage of assessment, I'd use the company values when answering the questions. The maths bit was fairly straightforward.

Yeah, I've done the job simulation now. It was scenario-based questions. A mix of recording your answers and "ranking the options" type of questions. You are given 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to record your answer. Only 1 attempt per question though. I think I did around 5 recorded questions.

Questions were like "a customer brought up an issue, how would you deal with it?" Or, like "a colleague needs some help with important tasks, what would you do?" The questions also had info you had to read through to try to form your answer off I guess.

So basically, how would you respond to different workplace scenarios. Honestly I've never encountered these types of questions, maybe that's just me though.

Weirdly, a few days after completing the assessment, I got an email saying the mech eng grad role is no longer available and they suggested me to apply to the missile architect role. Not sure whats going on there 🤣.
