Non-students on Viking Raid
My friend wants to join my friends and I on the viking raid this year, but she is not a student anymore. What are the restrictions on non-students? I’m assuming that as long as it isn’t a student-only club night at the club then she’ll be able to get in? Also, do bars let people in who don’t have VR t-shirts?

Hi there,
For Viking Raid, your t-shirt is your ticket, so I don't think you'd be able to get into venues which are part of the Viking Raid routes. However, you'd be able to go to any other venue in town instead without a Viking Raid t-shirt. I've listed this year's routes below:

Thor: The Courtyard (Uni of York campus), Waterfront, Lowther, Revs, Flares, Popworld, Salvos.

Loki: Glasshouse (Uni of York campus), Revs, Yates, Lowther, Jalou, Flares, Salvos
•
Freya: Vanbrugh Arms( Uni of York campus), Impossible, Katie O'Briens, Waterfront, Popworld, Jalou, Flares
•
Valkyire: The Courtyard (Uni of York campus), Yates, Impossible, Katie O'Briens, Lowther, Stone Roses, Revs
•
Irpa (Accessible Route): Vanbrugh Arms (Uni of York campus), Micklegate Social, Jalou, Flares, Yates, Katie O'Briens, Revs
•
Rán: Glasshouse (Uni of York campus), Lowther, Stone Roses, Yates, Waterfront, Impossible, Revs
Generally this event is restricted to students only from a safeguarding perspective. Some students attending will be freshers; and it might be one of their first nights out, so the idea is that they are only surrounded by other students.
