Hi!
1.) Education at Manchester, Durham, Newcastle, Leeds, and Birmingham.
2.) Biology (A*), Psychology (A*), and Sociology (A*), and I've only just started my EPQ, so I don't have a predicted grade for that yet.
What are your guys' top choices? I'm assuming Cambridge?
I want to say my top choice is actually UCL! Cambridge is a close second. Yet, the only part I worry is my subject alignment with the preferred subjects of humanities. Nonetheless, I know I’ll be fine in the end! Wherever life takes me, I’ll go.

Oooooo I went to the UCL open day and really liked it! I did not love the accommodation prices though… Yes I agree! That’s such a good outlook to have - things have a habit of working out 😊
What do you like about education’s discipline? Just curious, as the field is so diverse…

I’m interested in inclusive education, especially at children with special educational needs and disabilities, and how we can best support them. I’m also interested in the transformative power of education and how it can shape lives. I did some work experience in a ks2 resource base and loved it, so I’m thinking of being a primary teacher. How about you? 😀

Sounds amazing! I quite like inclusive education as well, but with a focus on the blind and visually impaired! In general, I am fond of how our environments metaphorically “educate” and mould us into who we are today. Whether it be classical antiquity, theology, or even our daily lives, learning can take place unintentionally and shape our dispositions, beliefs, and values!
Field-wise, I’m not truly sure where I want to be in detail, but I know for a fact that I want to be in a community - somewhere I can become part of the shaping process of our society.

I love the course at UCL too actually though I think Cambridge is still my top choice.
I’m really interested in the Curriculum actually and how what we are taught can reinforce hierarchies and shape the society we live in! I’m hoping to go into educational research on Autism or broader education policy in the future though I’m not sure as I just love to learn about so many things, hence the liberal arts applications elsewhere.
Your plans sound so interesting too
